Dress Rehearsal (Főpróba) – a literary jam session.
Featuring: Ármos Lóránd (poetry) and Hegedűs János Marcell (guitar).
Lóránd and Marcell met in the summer of 2016, at a summer camp. After an improvised joint performance by the light of a flashlight, they decided to perform together again. They now invite the Arnoldo audience to the dress rehearsal of their joint show. The performance takes place without any prior arrangement, so the final concept unfolds before the guests’ very eyes.
The host of the evening — in charge of the gastronomic delights, kindly setting things in order, and occasionally reciting a poem herself — is Miklusicsák Aliz.
Ármos Lóránd was born in 1980 in Carei (Nagykároly). His third volume of poems, entitled A kilternani ősz (Autumn in Kilternan), is published in November 2016 as a joint edition of Erdélyi Híradó Kiadó and the Association of Young Writers.
Hegedűs János Marcell was born in 1984 in Debrecen. He is a founding member of the band Skandináv.
Miklusicsák Aliz was born in Carei; she is the hostess of the Arnoldo café.
Admission is free. During the evening, guests can taste the famous vinetta (eggplant spread) bread of Carei.
