On Saturday, May 10, between 5 p.m. and 11 p.m., Bartók Béla Boulevard comes to life once again, as its galleries and exhibition spaces welcome visitors with special programs. During the Night of Galleries, guided tours, gallery walks, panel discussions, film screenings, music performances and a unique living library offer opportunities to connect with contemporary art.
On this special day, Arnoldo welcomes its guests until 11 p.m.!
At 7 p.m.: The Garden That Never Fades – Gross Arnold’s World, Alive to This Day
In his talk, gallery director Gross András will speak, among other things, about the more than ten years of the Gross Arnold Gallery’s operation, the creation of the Gross collection and its most recent acquisitions, as well as current news — including the stops of the traveling exhibition Gross Arnold 95 – Journeys to Real and Imaginary Landscapes.
Due to the venue’s limited capacity, the event requires registration (max. 20 people); you can register at arnoldogaleria@gmail.com.

8–11 p.m.: Pocket Disco with General Bem
Familiar rarities, delightfully odd tracks, an exciting guided tour through unexcavated musical finds of the present and the past — from vinyl records only, under the motto of “kicking back.” All this in the light of Gross Arnold’s artistic credo: “there is so much trouble, worry, sorrow and horror surrounding us in the world that we must not let it into art as well.”

About the Night of Galleries on the Bartók initiative:
Spend an evening with art in the cultural heart of Buda! On Saturday, May 10, from 5 p.m. until 11 p.m., the galleries and exhibition venues open their doors and await visitors with a host of exciting programs. There will be guided tours, gallery walks, panel discussions, film screenings, a living library and music performances.
The stretch between Szabadság híd, Móricz Zsigmond körtér and the Feneketlen-tó is a vibrant cultural axis, home to more than 15 galleries, mostly devoted to contemporary fine art, where art, gastronomy and community experiences meet. The Night of Galleries on the Bartók turns the spotlight on the most important players of this uniquely diverse cultural network: the galleries and exhibition spaces.
